| Offshore Radio Operator - Tuesday, August 17, 2010 - Job Code: 001 - Requirements: At least 4 years experience in the field, a valid GMDSS license is a must for all radio operators; excellent English and computer skills are required. - General Responsibilities: Is responsible for the operations of Rig's communication including but not limited to the VHF, teletype, facsimile machine, public address system, and intercom system in accordance with the requirements of the normal international practices and the company rules and regulations - Duties: 1) Under the direction of the senior tool pusher, maintains rig communications with the shore base, supply vessels, helicopters and other stations. 2) Monitors distress and calling frequencies as required. 3) Monitors designated private channels. 4) Operates a broad range of communication equipment including HF, UHF, VHF, computer terminals, and facsimile machines. Working hours: 12 hours Days off: Two weeks in the field and two weeks off. |
| Offshore Crane Operator - Tuesday, August 17, 2010 - Job Code: 002 - Requirements: at least 4 years experience in the field. Very good English is a must. - General Responsibilities: Operation and maintenance of cranes, supervision of deck crew and materials, assists in helicopter operations. - Duties: 1) Operates the crane within the scope of the operators manual, in co-ordination with one designated person to give hand signals. 2) Service cranes and associated equipment as per the E.D.C. preventive maintenance program including inspection of boom, sheaves, wire line, lubricators, blocks and swivels, controls handles and engine components. 3) Assists the drill crew in running casing from the main deck, to cantilever deck, and to rig floor, ensuring the loads are properly tied and casing pin protection in is installed. Working hours: 12 hours Days off: Two weeks in the field and two weeks off. |

Fluency in English Language is a must. General responsibilities Manages the marine matters of the rig,hull maintenance, safety equipment, stability, load distribution and tranport of personnel and materials, organize training, instructs safety policy matters and attends emergency drills. Evaluate risks for dangerous work on board and assists senior tool pusher on board in any emergency situation. Assists tow master to lower, elevate and tow rig from location to location. Takes charge of the rig if the tow master becomes unavailable when rig is being jacked, towed, or is otherwise not in the drilling/operational mode. Working hours: 12 hours Days off: Two weeks in the field and two weeks off. |
