| Senusret on the way to the Med. |  Senusret loaded out of Gulf of Suez on 17 March 2010 at 12:00 hrs, Cairo time, on the way to the Mediteranean. Taking the Cape of Good Hope route, it is expected to reach the Med. on 28 April and start operations early May. The transport is undertaken by M/S Eagle, belonging to Offshore Heavy Transport (OHT).
The Rig has been awarded a drilling contract for one year with Abu Qir Petroleum Company. Senusret is an Independent Leg Self Elevating Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit, built by Mitsui Ocean Development & Engineering (Modec) in 1981. |

| New Jack-Up “Sneferu” |  EDC has taken delivery of its new Jack up “Sneferu” on Thursday 28 January 2010 at 15:00 hrs Singapore time. “Sneferu” is a Baker Marine Pacific Class 375 Jack-up Drilling Rig, built by PPL Shipyard Pte LTD in Singapore. Construction contract was signed on 31 August 2007. The Rig is powered by five Caterpillar 3516C generator sets, and equipped with a 3000 HP TTS Sense Drawworks, Canrig 1275 AC Topdrive, 18-3/4” 15K Cameron BOPs, Weatherford and NOV Iron Roughnecks, NOV D-495 Rotary Table, three E-2200-15 EWECO Mud Pumps, and three Baker Marine 2250 Deck Cranes with 140’ booms. |
