Senusret loaded out of Gulf of Suez on 17 March 2010 at 12:00 hrs, Cairo time, on the way to the Mediteranean. Taking the Cape of Good Hope route, it is expected to reach the Med. on 28 April and start operations early May.

The transport is undertaken by M/S Eagle, belonging to Offshore Heavy Transport (OHT).
The Rig has been awarded a drilling contract for one year with Abu Qir Petroleum Company.

Senusret is an Independent Leg Self Elevating Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit, built by Mitsui Ocean Development & Engineering (Modec) in 1981.
