EDC is Egypt's largest drilling Contractor, providing quality drilling and workover services onshore and offshore. The number of rigs in operation is 70. EDC employs in excess of 5,000 people in Cairo main office and on rigs.

The Drilling & Petroleum Services Company (DPS) was established in 1997 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. DPS currently manages five EDC owned onshore drilling rigs.
