Quality Management System
EDC has established a Quality Managemnet System (QMS) to achieve the company's Quality Policy,ensure service quality,and promote continuous improvement.
The organizational structure,responsibilities,procedures,processes,and resources for implementation of quality management are contained in the Quality Managemnet System of EDC.
The QMS covers all services which are carried out by EDC today and anticipated future tasks.The system compiles with relevant authority requirements,typical QMS requirements from clients/customers,and EDC's own requirements.
Egyptian Drilling Company Quality Policy
Egyptian Drilling Company is committed to conducting all its activities in a manner that ensures a high standard of quality to its services,conforms to contractual obigations,safeguards human life and health,and protects the environment.
In compliance with this policy EDC established a Quality Management System which is to ensure:
- Customer satisfaction.
- Promotion of applicable codes of practice,procedures,and regulations which relate to the above matters.
- Full compliance with local laws,rules and regulations in the country where EDC is operating.
- All employees are provided with procedures,guidelines and references to assure standardization of work,based on the established requirements.
- Plan its activities in a manner that assure quality of deliverables.
- Co-ordinate,perform,verify,and document its activities in accordance with established quality requirements.
- Document the quality of the activities so the achievement can be demonstrated.
- Evaluate performance through measuring achieved results against own targets & industry performance.
- Establish areas where improvement is required,plan and conduct improvement measures accordingly.
- Include expected future requirements and expected development in the long term planning.
- Allocate adequate resources for the conduct of its activities.
EDC shall respect local societies customs and traditions and shall act to promote corporate image in the society where it operates through positive contributions and services to the society.
