EDC Health, Safety & Environment

Safety of our people comes before equipment and before the well. EDC’s HSE Management System is certified to ISO 45001:2018 and applies to all employees, contractors, and visitors across all operational sites. Our commitments: protect people and the environment; support any personnel who stop unsafe work without reprisal; investigate all incidents and share lessons learned; and verify compliance through regular audits against ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and applicable regulatory requirements.

HSE Performance

EDC tracks and publicly reports its safety performance through key industry metrics — Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), Lost Time Injury Frequency (LTIF), and cumulative hours worked without a Lost Time Incident (LTI). These indicators reflect our operational discipline, the effectiveness of our safety systems, and our long-term commitment to continuous improvement.

Total Recordable Incident Rate

TRIR Recordable incidents per 200,000 man-hours worked

Lost Time Injury Frequency

LTIF Lost time injuries per 1,000,000 man-hours worked

Hours Worked Without LTI

---- Cumulative man-hours without a Lost Time Incident
